5 Things on my Nerd Bucket List

1-Meet Emma Watson

I love Emma Watson and think that she is am amazing human being! Not only did she play two of my favorite characters, Hermione and Belle, she uses her fame to do good things in the world. This one might be REALLY hard to make happen. But a couple years ago I would have never thought I would meet Jason Isaacs, Tom Felton, Bonnie Wright, Evanna Lynch, or the Phelps twins. And I’ve met all of them so I’m not going to give up hope of meeting Emma Watson!

2-Visit the Warner Bros. Studio Tour in London, England

This is one that I talked about in 5 nerdy places I want to/will travel to. I have wanted to see the Harry Potter Studio Tour ever since it was announced that they were building one! I am a huge Harry Potter nerd and so this is a MUST see for me. And guess what? I’m going to be going next summer!! I am so excited that I am finally going to make this happen!

3-Get JK Rowling’s autograph

I love the world that JK Rowling has created for us! Can you imagine a world without Harry Potter in it? That would be so terrible! Not only has JK Rowling created a magical world for us to enjoy but she has also created a phenomenal charity called Lumos. ‘Lumos works to help the millions of children in institutions worldwide regain their right to a family.’ Which is a wonderful thing to do. And it would be a dream come true to meet her and get her autograph.

4-Spend four days in Disney World

I have been to Disneyland and I had an absolute BLAST! So the next step up is to go to Disney World! I have been a fan of all things Disney for as long as I can remember. And you would think that living in Utah in the United States I could hop on over to Florida and go to Disney World. But that hasn’t happened yet. I’m going to go to London before I go to Disney World, how does that make sense?!

5-Make a Katniss costume and a Belle costume for Comic Con

I have wanted to make a costume of Katniss for Comic Con for ages!! But a really specific one, the one that you see when she is all in red and is sitting in the white chair. I just have never put in the effort to make it. And I fell in love with Belle’s gold dress in the live action remake of Beauty and the Beast.  Their are very few princess dresses that I can wear because I am LDS. But as soon as I saw that dress my first thought was, “Ooh I can wear that!”

Monthly Favorites-May. What did you discover?
    • It gets easier to talk to celebrities the more that you meet, at least that’s the case for me! But I agree I’d probably pass out or something like that…

  • Love your bucket list! I’d love to meet Emma Watson as well. I’ve seen a lot of the Harry Potter cast in person at events, but haven’t met too many yet. Belle’s dress would be a lovely cosplay. I want to be her for Halloween but can’t decide which outfit. I’ve seen a lot of her in the new village dress at cons, but not many in the yellow yet. 🙂

    • I’ve gotten 5 of my seven Harry Potter books signed by a cast member, and they have all been lovely people! Why not make both dresses if you can’t decide? 😉 Then you could wear one this year, and one next year!
