October Friday the 13 I hosted a Harry Potter themed spa girls night and it was fantastic!! I don’t really care for scary movies so this was an awesome alternative. 🙂 I pulled some recipes from The Unofficial Harry Potter Beauty Potions Book from Amazon and I found a recipe on Youtube by Demi Siriusly for DIY Butterbeer lip balm!!

I love doing DIYs! They are so fun and then you have a really cool item. That when people compliment you can say, “Thanks, I made that.” And wow them with your awesome craftiness! This month I decided to make a Butterbeer candle. I love how it smells and I love how it turned out!
Hello friends! I realized that there has been a sad lack of DIY’s on this blog, and of course I had to remedy that! For a Faceebook group that I am in, Geek Blogs United, they are doing themed posts this week. Between the pages. So basically anything involving books. And because I was feeling crafty I decided to make something with book pages. Of course I did one involving Harry Potter! Come and check out my between the ages craft project!

I decided to make a Harry Potter candle, because who doesn’t love candle light? And if you combine the flickering candle glow with Harry Potter you’ve got magic!
You only need a few things for this project which makes it all the better!
Choker necklaces are really big right now (I see them every where!). So what better way to show my Harry Potter pride than by making me a golden snitch choker?? It’s super easy and didn’t take me very long to make at all! And what Harry Potter nerd wouldn’t love to be wearing their very own personal golden snitch?!
I like making things, I tend to do it quite a lot. I especially like making things that I can wear! Add in the fact that it is a nerd related wearable item and I am sold!! I thought that I would share with you how to make this SUPER easy DIY Harry Potter shirt! The best part is that you can use this technique to make a shirt for any fandom that you are a part of!
